TOURISM CONSULTANCY FOR
DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES

Tourism and culture have a critical role to play in the delivery of the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs). Maximum Exposure’s team provides tourism consultancy to international financial institutions (IFIs), development organisations, and their delivery partners to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate projects in the tourism and culture sectors.

Maximum Exposure supplies development agencies with short-term consultants (STCs) and support staff. Sometimes, we bid for tenders; but more often, clients contact us directly because they’ve worked with us before or heard of our reputation.

Thanks to the diverse experience and skillsets of our team, we can offer a broad range of tourism and culture consultancy services, including:

  • The scoping and design of tourism and culture development projects, including the preparation of budgets, timescales, and procurement strategies;
  • Drafting of terms of reference (TORs), the identification of qualified companies and consultants, and evaluation of bids and applications;
  • Design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of matching grant programmes;
  • Research, analysis, and report writing for both internal and external audiences;
  • Policy reviews and the drafting of tourism legislation, procedures, and guidelines;
  • Capacity building for the public and private sectors;
  • Multi-media communication of project activities and success stories in-country and abroad.

We contribute research, analysis, and recommendations to economic reports, such as Creating Markets in Albania, Western Balkans Regular Economic Report No.18: An Uncertain Recovery, and Recovery of Western Balkans firms: Crowding in private investment and expanding access to advisory support. Many of our IFI clients also use our copywriting and editing, photography, graphic design, and public relations services to enhance their project communications.
