Maximum Exposure

Barbaros Aytug studied Comparative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, then moved to Photography and Visual Arts in Halic and Isik Universities respectively. He has worked as both a photographer and journalist for several different media outlets in Turkey, including Platin MagazineAksam Newspaper, and Good Morning Turkey.

Fluent in English and Turkish, he writes articles and conducts interviews for GMT (based in Washington DC), Arcane, and other media outlets, as well as running his own photography studio. He specialises in art, politics, and tourism, bringing many important contacts together from the US, Europe, and Middle East.

Aside from his career as a journalist, Barbaros has also worked for animal welfare programmes. He is  the co-founder of Second Chance, a charitable foundation managing the Karacabey Bear Sanctuary, also a national park, for Turkey’s Forest Ministry.
